Dalton under 12,s are now starting to reward themselves,coaching staff & parents,with some excellent results.Last seasons under 10,s & under 12,s went the whole campaign without winning a game.Now combining @ under 12,s,the season kicked off with a defeat @ Ulverston,next was Askam@ home, half time saw us 20-0 down,only to fight back & earn a well deserved draw,with excellent tries from Joe Sprout,Jordan Woodend 2 & Joe Braund Smith.We then drew 14-14 @ Roose Pioneers with Brad Charnley denied a perfectly good try which cost us victory.We then lost 10-8 to Marsh Hornets with Jack Braithwaite being denied a winning try by the Hornets linesman! We then lost to Ulverston & Walney,but with the return fixture @ Askam next the lads were confident of getting there 1st win.Despite playing some good rugby we found ourselves trailing 12-0 but the lads dug deep & produced a good comeback to win 22-16, tries coming from Nevinson,Bartlett & 2 from Woodend who also added 3 conversions with Chris Quirk playing an absolute blinder.Following this came an excellent win over Roose Pioneers the score finishing 32-16 with some well worked tries from Robert (the Bam-Bam) Bamber James(the Devil ) Devitt, Adam( the Batterer) Bartlett & captain fantastic Jordan Woodend scoring another 2. With 17 lads signed on the commitment has been second to none,each week we have a full turn out for both training & match days
